After over a year of living in North Carolina and hearing from everyone that we must visit Asheville, we finally made it! We spent four lovely days with friends sipping beer, shopping downtown, and enjoying the beautiful mountain views.
Asheville is most know for their micro-brews, but we love a few other things that are locally made there. I thought I'd share our favorite finds with you in case you ever find yourself visiting.

ROOTS HUMMUS This hummus is, by far, the best store bought I've ever had! Our local Whole Foods carries it, but if you are in Asheville you can visit their shop. We didn't make it there this time around, but it's on our list for next time. However, a tub of their Original Hummus will continue to be a staple in our fridge.
BURIAL BEER This brewery makes some of our favorite local brews. I was in love with The Triumph of Death Sumac Saison. We spent a few hours sampling and sipping a bunch at their beautiful brewery one afternoon. It's definitely a spot we hope to return to the next time around.
C&Co HANDCRAFTED SKINCARE I loved this boutique shop in downtown and wanted to get everything this natural skincare company makes. I ended up getting the Lavender Cold Cream and the Rosemary Lavender Moisture Stick. I have been using them nonstop and love how they feel and smell.
APPALACHIAN NATURAL SOAPS We happened upon this soup shop in downtown tucked away on Wall Street. It smelled like heaven and their soaps are all natural and made locally. We ended up taking home the Cedar Bay & Charcoal Soap which is great for detoxing winter skin.
TRUPELO HONEY CAFE was one of our favorite breakfast meals during our trip. They have their own brand of honey and three cookbooks. They also have a restaurant in Raleigh which I can't wait to try and relive our trip.
