You may remember the paper lanterns from Helen's birthday. After the celebration I knew I wanted to re-purpose them in an installation. So I took the opportunity of having my niece here to help me with the project. We used red and white baker's twine and steel push pins for an easy DIY.
I love how it turned out. It reminds me of clouds. Helen can look up at them from her bed and they also fill the empty space above the dresser. This is a big room with high ceilings and it always felt a little empty. Now I can't imagine the room without them!
Here are a few photos of the process as well as the finished product!
