Keeping up with the cleaning around here seems like a never ending task. As s kid, my mom and I would clean the house every Saturday morning. I remember it taking a long time and hating every minute of it!
So as an adult with my own home, I'm taking a different approach. Instead of the full morning clean, I take 30-45 minutes each day for cleaning. I've used a few different systems. The most popular is the "By Room" approach which I'm not a fan of.
Instead I do a "By Type" approach. The reason I prefer this method is because I only have to do one thing instead of switching from dusting to vacuuming etc, I only dust or vacuum and I do the entire house.
Does anyone else do it this way? I'd love to know what methods you have to keep a clean house. Let me know in the comments section.
Here's my weekly schedule which I try very hard to keep to. Of course, it doesn't always happen, but what can you do.
