We've been shaking things up around here and I hope you are enjoying the new look and feel of Goss House!
In the interest of keeping the positive new energy going, I thought it would be fun to start a new series where I share a place we love with you and help you get the look for your own home! We love venturing out and exploring new spots to eat, drink and hang out at. And now you get to come along too! So here we go.
First up is JuiceKeys! I'm in love with this unassuming little juice bar. The smoothies are perfection and the decor is spot on! I love how this little space tells a story about it's past as a cheese shop. Here's how:
+ The white shiplap walls, tin ceiling and green paint feel like they were already in the space and are part of the original room
+ The very large, rustic wood wall/bench/table combination was then inserted into the space announcing it's new use! I love how it feels layered in and doesn't disturb the existing stuff that was already there.
+ The acrylic Ghost chairs are great because they don't compete. But once you are in the space for a bit, they become the star. I love how whimsical they are.
+ Finally the satellite light fixture adds a little playfulness and feel like a little jewel in the room.
I'd replicate this look for an indoor/outdoor space, screen porch or three season room. It would make a great spot for warm evening entertaining because all the pieces are fun and decidedly unfussy.
There you have it, Friends. Here's how you can get the look for your own home!
