Helen, lately, has been excited to explore watercolor, paint and any other medium I give her. I love that she's interested and, of course, I want to encourage her creativity as much as possible. Part of that is giving her a way to display her work.
So I created a simple gallery wall that is centrally located but also not too precious. I'm a big believer that making art is all about practice and trial and error and not everything we make is a masterpiece. This wire clothesline felt like just the right balance of clean, organized, but also temporary.
She loves to clip her latest creation up right along side something I've made. This little gesture has in a way encouraged everyone to paint more and even Pat and Von are getting in on the fun!
The new Goss House logo features a fern leaf. I hand drew the leaf and my friend Erin who created the logo digitized it for the logo. I love it so much!
