Flagship urban microbrewery.

Owners JC and Esther Tetreault had a dream of opening a microbrewery in the heart of historic Fort Point, a Boston neighborhood in the midst of a building revolution. This little project is the result of that dream. Working with the owners and contractor this project is a labor of collaboration, sweat and lots of love.

(This location is no longer in operation as the brewery has continued to thrive and outgrew the space…a welcome side affect!)

The design is all about unearthing the historic detail of this former loading dock, preserving it and
building a modern, warm, and inviting microbrewery around it. Reclaimed materials for nearby construction included historic windows that offer views from the retail space into the brewery, a structural wood beam refinished as a bar top and reclaimed planks to soften an otherwise industrial concrete interior.

“Our first location was tucked in the vibrant Fort Point neighborhood of South Boston where we utilized practices representing both tradition and modern re-invention.”
